About Us

We began showing dogs during the late 1990s and had some success with Bedlington Terriers and Whippets. 

It was during a show that I first saw a Borzoi and fell in love with the breed, vowing to own one one day.

That day was a while coming for various reasons but, after being absent from the show world for a few years, in 2013 I acquired my first Borzoi from a well-respected kennel and 2014 saw us back in the show ring.

We do not breed often as our reason for producing a litter would always be to keep at least one puppy here at the Jansams Kennel, and we strive to always improve on what we have.

Our first litter produced the 2018 Puppy Of The Year, and our second litter has seen us make up our first home bred champion in June 2022.

We aim to rear well-balanced, sociable puppies and, although we no longer have young children living at home, we have grandchildren who are more than happy to participate in socialisation lessons. We hope you enjoy our website and you are very welcome to leave us a message.
