We love the Borzoi Breed and always wanted to own one, That dream became a reality in 2014, and a Crufts winner in 2017.

We do not breed often as our reason for producing a litter would always be to keep at least one puppy here at the Jansams Kennel, and we strive to always improve on what we have. Our first litter produced the 2018 Puppy Of The Year and our
second litter has seen us make up our first home bred champion in June 2022.
Our foundation bitch, Calon came to us at the age of 17 months due to the ill-health of her owner/breeder. She had not been socialised and trusted no-one.
The “keeper” from our first litter, Tirion is the clown of the pack. She has a superb temperament and loves everyone. She will happily “kiss” anyone who gets close enough, a trait she has taken into the show ring, cleaning the ears of many a judge whilst being examined.
Our first borzoi arrived in November 2013 and we were smitten. In the show ring he did well as a puppy, being awarded Best Puppy In Breed on numerous occasions and, as he got older, consistently being placed.
At the age of 18 months Siggy was rehomed and she became a companion to an elderly couple who had recently lost their borzoi. She had a beautiful temperament and settled in well.
In the latter part of 2023 we hope that our home bred
Champion Jansams Killer Queen (Seren) will produce the next Jansams litter.
Preparations are underway and we are in the process of looking for the perfect
stud dog to suit her.
